Nurturing Your Yoga Practice, Welcoming the New Day, in Udine
With Elena Petris and Dakshayani
A time for self-knowledge
Before it is exercise for the body, yoga is a space for self-knowledge, listening, and presence. Treating yourself to a practice around dawn means choosing to meet yourself in the stillness of the early hours, cultivating a space of genuine awareness.
Why practice yoga in the morning?
Dawn is a suspended time, a moment of silence when the world is still quiet and the mind is naturally ready to listen. Morning is the ideal time to wake up the body, release the stiffness that has built up, and settle your thoughts before the daily rush begins.
Starting the day with movement and attention to the breath brings vitality, encourages a pleasant sense of lightness, and supports inner clarity, giving body and mind a quality of attention that can carry through the whole day.
This course grew out of the wish to create a small morning practice community in Udine: an intimate group (6 participants at most) where you can find grounding and connection.
Two perspectives, one harmony
The course will be led jointly by Elena Petris and Dakshayani, longtime teachers and practitioners.
We chose to take turns leading the sessions to offer you a consistent, harmonious course. While keeping a shared teaching approach, we’ll each bring our own sensibilities and differences as teachers: an added value that will enrich your experience on the mat with complementary perspectives and nuances.
What our classes include:
Who it’s for
The course is open to everyone: both those coming to yoga for the first time and experienced practitioners looking for a steady discipline and the support of a group to practice in the early hours of the day in Udine.
