Exercise and Relaxation in Pregnancy: Why Your Body Will Thank You (and What the Studies Say)
Exercise and relaxation in pregnancy: benefits and practical tips

Birth isn’t learned from books: it’s experienced in the body. From theory to practice, a 4-step course that makes room for movement, breath, and trust, so you can welcome your baby while listening to your own natural rhythm.
Less theory, more body. Experience your strength before birth.
You’ve already read books, searched online, and you know (in theory) what’s going to happen? Now it’s time to let all that knowledge pass through your body.
This course is not the usual informational prenatal class made up of lectures alone. It’s a true hands-on, body-based workshop: a safe space to explore and listen to yourself.
Together we’ll explore the breath, the voice, and the positions that work with the physiology of birth. I’ll give you practical, concrete tools to face pain with confidence, cope with contractions through mindful movement, and welcome your baby while respecting your privacy and nature’s rhythms.
An intensive series in 4 steps, designed for women looking for concrete tools who want to connect deeply with themselves and their baby.
1. The Baby’s Cradle: Space and Harmony
We’ll explore the dance between uterus, pelvis, and baby. Through body movement, you’ll learn how to create more space to encourage optimal positioning and make the birth easier.
2. The Pelvis on the Move: Dynamic Movement and Descent
A body in labor doesn’t stay still. We’ll try out dynamic positions and specific movements designed to work with contractions and guide your baby’s descent in a natural, physiological way.
3. The Perineum: Awareness and Care
Deep bodywork focused on the perineum. You’ll learn how to feel it, soften it, prepare it, and protect it, so you can welcome birth with respect and care.
4. Beyond Pain: Breath, Voice, and Hormonal Resources
Hormones are your biological allies. We’ll practice using the breath, the sound of your voice, and deep relaxation to turn fear into strength and confident self-assurance.
You want to move from theory to practice: You want to feel in your body how to move, breathe, and position yourself during labor.
You’d like a body “refresh”: You’re expecting your second or third baby and want some time just for you to reconnect with the experience of birth.
You want to transform your fear of pain: You’re looking for practical tools to handle the power of contractions instead of just enduring them.
You value honest conversation: You’re looking for a small, welcoming, nonjudgmental group where you can share your questions with me and with other moms.
You’re already near the end of your pregnancy (“in the home stretch”): A focused series will give you everything you need right now.
What to bring: Comfortable clothes and non-slip socks. All the practice materials (mats, cushions, props) will be waiting for you in the room.
Your pregnancy is a unique journey. If you have questions, are curious, or simply want to find out whether this is the right course for you, don’t wait for the first day of class.
Call me or message me, even just to get to know each other. I’ll be happy to hear your story and support you on this adventure. I’ll be waiting for you with open arms!
